Continuous Passive Motion (CPM)

Shoulder CPM - Centura 5

The Centura features a natural, anatomical motion that increases patient compliance and decreases joint stress. The post-operative passive range of motion helps prevent joint stiffness, edema, soft tissue contractures and muscle atrophy.
Functional movements

  • Abduction/adduction with fixed rotation: 20º - 160º
  • Abduction/adduction with synchronised rotation.
  • Combined range 20º - 160º of abduction with 30º of internal
  • rotation to 90º of external rotation
  • Rotation with fixed abduction/adduction:
  • 60º Internal - 90º External
  • Flexion/extension: 20º - 180º
  • Horizontal ABD/ADD: -30º - 0º - 110º

Knee CPM - Prima Spectra

An unbeatable combination of good looks and mechanical innovation sets Spectra apart as the Knee CPM of choice. The entire spectrum of needs for knee patients can now be addressed with a carriage that accommodates a full range of patients, without any additional accessories.

  • Hyperextension (-10°) to full flexion (120°) for a complete range of treatment.
  • Sleek design incorporates carry handles - from either side.
  • Comfortable, easy-to-apply patient pad kit included.
  • Warm-Up offers the patient a gradual progression to the pre-set full ROM.
  • Modulation allows manual setting of the ROM end-point based on patient tolerance.
  • ROM By Pass allows bypassing the pre-set ROM end points during the current treatment session.
  • Digital adjustment, Timer, Pause, Session time.
  • Program allows set-up of up to 16 customised programs

Elbow CPM - 6080

Anatomically correct passive motion of the elbow joint with or without synchronised pronation/ supination of the forearm. It is convenient and easy to use in a bed or chair. Post-operative treatment using this device provides an effective deterrent to stiffness and loss of range of motion. In addition, the 6080 elbow rolls on locking wheels and is usable in bed or a chair. Its 135° range of motion fits a wide variety of applications while the variable speed control allows progressive changes in therapy. Accidental program changes and potential injuries can be avoided thanks to the lockable range-of-motion setting.

  • Range of Motion: Flexion: 135°, Extension: 0°, Pronation-Supination: 90° to 90°
  • Speed: from 3'50" to 1' for a cycle from 0° to 135°

Hand and Wrist CPM - Maestra

  • Range of Motion: Fingers: 45° hyperextension, 270° flexion (full fist)
  • Thumb: Full opposition
  • Wrist: 55° flexion – 90° extension
  • 90° pronation – 90° supination
  • Full abduction/adduction
  • Intrinsic + : 0°extension, 90° flexion
  • Intrinsic - : 0°extension, 180° flexion
  • DIP: 0°-70°
