Gloreha - Hand Rehabilitation Glove
Gloreha is an innovative device for the rehabilitation of patients with any hand deficiency. It allows an effective an intensive, early, stimulant and flexible neuromotor treatment.
While the patient can follow the exercise through 3D animation on the screen, a comfortable and light glove mobilizes the fingers’ joints.
Hand movements are connected with video and audio effects that stimulate the neurocognitive recovery.
Gloreha allows varied and longer therapies with a minimal overview by the therapists.

The project was born from cooperation between Idrogenet and Engineers of l'Università degli Studi di Brescia, and with the consultancy of main Italian physiatrists. Now Gloreha is used in several hospitals/rehab centres, treating hundred patients in Italy and worldwide.
Complete movements
- actuates flexion-extension of metacarpus-phalangeal and interphalangeal joints of all fingers of the hand
- moves fingers smoothly, both individually and simultaneously
- allows several exercises (claw closures, fists, counting, etc.)
Stimulating exercises
- the patient can see a virtual 3D preview of the exercise
- the patient can accompany the movements, stimulated with a 3D simultaneous simulation.
- video and audio effects (colours, tones and sounds) are associated to the movements
Freedom in movement
- the palm of the patient is completely free, allowing grasping exercises
- no intrusive exoskeleton is fitted onto the patient, but just a light glove
- the patient’s arm can be freely moved, allowing reaching exercises
